Autumn Forest Therapy Walk
October 26th
9:30-11am
Join us for an enriching forest therapy walk on a peaceful trail less traveled in Shelby Bottoms. Our knowledgeable guide, Sarah Champion, will lead you on a carefully curated guided walk through the forest. This walk is intended for everyone. If you have kiddos-bring them along, Mel will ensure that kiddos are cared for and given space and time to play amongst the trees, allowing parents to fully enjoy their rejuvenating walk in nature.
This specific Forest Therapy practice (ANFT) combines a standard template with the spontaneity and diversity found in nature.
As a guide, Sarah works with the forest to provide prompts that get us to dig into our senses, play, and explore. We gather together multiple times throughout the walk to share our noticing and practice deep listening.
We invite you to come, try it out, and see what you notice!
